Gypsy was born in 1975 in Ibiza of English parents. Her father an accomplished photographer and her mother a dress designer.

She spent her early years at school in Ibiza and then after some years of higher education in London graduated with a degree in Fine Art from Middlesex University. At university she devoted her three years to photography. During this time and after, she found the opportunity to work freelance in London, specialising in fashion and lifestyle photography.

Then followed a year and a half of travel which was a time when she truly became inspired by all the diverse and fascinating cultures, faces and landscapes of India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia.

She now lives again in Ibiza with her husband and young son and since 2001 has been photographing weddings celebrated on the island, as well as being able to build up a client list spanning luxury bars, restaurants, hotels, private interiors and villa companies.

She says, "I love photographing people. There is a magic in capturing the true essence of a character in a photograph. That natural and spontaneous instant can sometimes reflect a whole personality, a mood, an emotion and can tell a story in a moment which will be kept forever."
