It is time to look back on 2022 first

As we step into another wedding season it is time to look back on 2022.

Oh my gosh we are already starting 2023 Ibiza wedding season and it feels like we did not even finish up last year yet.

So here I am doing a quick retake showing off some of last year.

Weddings here are not just wedding days alone. They are often three day events. I get it, why would they not be, if you are traveling to Ibiza with all of your best friends and family, you would want to spend as much fun time with them as possible. Some do the day before AND the day after, some a whole week of fun, some just a really good night after the wedding or even on the wedding night itself! They get to meet everyone once they are on the island, escape a few pre wedding nerves. And then you get to have a hang over of dreams with your besties- avoiding that boxing day feeling of all the fun over, for a little longer.

Beach bars, swanky roof tops, clifftop picnics, pool parties, boat parties, club nights and a wedding in the middle. We ( me and my team) have been to them all. As the photographers, we get to meet and know and get friendlier with the couple, the guest and the family. We get to understand their dynamic a little more, maybe get a few pre wedding practice photos in and we get to make a real Long beautiful IBIZA STORY.

I and we do love a three day wedding event.

Alidad and Sarah were amongst the lucky ones ( for us and for them!) we had last year. (there are quite a few more to come)

Here is their late summer Grandly Beautiful Ibiza Wedding three day dream event.

Day one – a sunset evening at Petunias over looking Es Vedra, Wedding day at the most elegant north side hotel Ca Na Xica and next day brunchy lunch lounging at Ca Na Xica. There was nothing like the grand pampas grass wedding arch, that BIG band BEFORE dinner, their perfect first dance, of course with Sarah being a dancer, the three outfit changes AND Alidad playing the decks at his own wedding.
