The biggest wedding ever with the sweetest couple ever.

It was big, over 250 guests. That is big for a UK destination wedding in Ibiza. For the Spanish it is ‘normal’ but my average weddings here are 80 guests. So imagine what comes with 250 guests. I am not sure Talya and Alfie got much time to themselves, to appreciate the day, to appreciate their family and friends, to enjoy. They were ‘stressed’.

My wedding was 130 guests and I remember my mouth aching from smiling, my head spinning from the smallest of quick conversations with everyone there and all the emotion. I cannot image 250 people hugging and tugging at you, talking and dancing. Between it all then trying to have some fun and enjoy.

My first take on this grand day was this. Stressful and overwhelm, Another take was also to think how all those people became connected, by two families. Appreciated and appreciative and sending lovely Talya and Alfie so much love. Surrounding them with their fun and joy. All with the forever of Ibiza etched in the their memory.

And honestly they were the sweetest couple ever. First Loves. I am a bit of a romantic and think that it is one of the loveliest things to marry and be happy with your first love. Notebook anyone? Have you watched that?

Today it is already a year ago. Happy Anniversary to them. Wishing the loveliest of chilled days wherever you are. You deserve it after that eventful wedding day!
